Welcome to Revival Hour

“Half hour with us, and God and half hour with God alone”

Brother John comes with a great desire to see God move on behalf of those that need Him, seek Him, and want more of Him. For many years we have seen great preaching, great preachers, great churches but with little or no results of healings, miracles, salvation or a manifested power of Almighty God. We are waiting for Him, but the truth is He is waiting for us.

Brother John had the privilege to see first-hand moves of God over the years in ministry and see revivals in Argentina, Cuba, and other parts of the world. His desire is to lift up the name of Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to move in the lives of the listeners.

What is revival?

(Click here for a great explanation)

The word of God says in 1 Corinthians 2:4, “And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.”

A preacher once said, “Do not complain for what you have allowed”, he was so right.

What have we allowed?

  • Prayer is the first thing that comes to mind, because this is what I have seen over the years. We are no longer praying, we are no longer coming together as a church to call on God, it is time to get desperate, the world is not getting better. What was wrong years ago is acceptable now, even Christians are accepting things that God is totally against, and what was right is something we reject, something that is no longer part of us. We need to get back to weeping before God, is no longer nice prayers that will make this world a better world, but wailing, weeping, presenting our petitions before God like never before. Fasting and praying is a thing of our past, BUT GOD, has heard the cry of His servants. He will once again come for His people in Power, and we must be ready.
  • We are no longer reaching those that are in need of God, in need of the love of God. We are no longer reaching out. The answer is always Christ through His church, what have we allowed?

Ezekiel 33:30-32 (NIV) says, “As for you, son of man, your people are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, ‘Come and hear the message that has come from the Lord.’ My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.”

  • Jesus called us to be fishers of man. A preacher once said, if we are not fishing we are not following, how true that is.
  • Jesus also called us to make disciples. It is great that people are praying the sinner’s prayer, but discipleship is our call.

Jesus said come FOLLOW ME, Paul said be imitators of me. Discipleship is teaching them the word of God, but they need to follow you to the prayer meeting, they need to follow you to that visitation in the hospital, they need to follow you and see how real and how great our God really is. The saying is, “If we don’t use them, if we don’t get them to engage right away, we will lose them”, where are they now?

We are losing our young people in the church, we are losing them to what the world has to offer. We are coming up with programs and programs to keep them in the church and most is not working, young people today they not only want to hear how great God is, they are tired of that, they desperately need to see how great He is, they need to see a move of God in our churches, they need to see miracles, healings. They need to see the older ones in the church move in Gods power, if not they will say, is that how I will end up after serving God for many years.

The word of God says in Psalm 71:18, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come.”

Brother John is no longer interested in just great sermons, but allowing people to see who God really is and what God can really do or is capable of doing for us when we need him, when we seek him and He becomes our ALL. He wants to heal your marriage, He wants to restore your life, He wants to heal your broken heart, He wants to give you the miracle that you need in your life today, for we are COMPLETE IN HIM, and He is all we ever need.

Pray with me

Dear God, Thank you that you are a merciful God, you are a God of second chances, I truly believe that Jesus came to die on the cross for my sins, forgive me for my sins, and I also believe that He rose from the dead to give me power to live for Him in victory, to have an abundant life, Lord Jesus come into my heart, come into my home, my life and revive me, meet my needs not my wants, for my wants got me where I’m at, you know what I need and I give you full control of my life, and I’m willing by Gods grace to follow You and obey you for the rest of my life, I pray all of this in Jesus name, Amen.
